The most common adjustment styles used in our office include
- Activator: This spring-loaded, handheld mechanical instrument gives the patient a quick, low-force impulse at specific points.
- Diversified: Dr. Rock manually places pressure through the affected vertebral segment to restore proper movement.
- Gonstead: Several methods of examination are used to determine where your misalignments, nerve dysfunction, foundational imbalance, and motion disturbances may be, and Dr. Rock then makes adjustment decisions from there.
- Thompson: During this style adjustment, Dr. Rock uses high-velocity, low-amplitude, low-force movements. It’s also known as the Drop Table Technique.
